Combining atomistic simulations and machine learning to predict grain boundary segregation in magnesium alloys

Dr. Liang Qi as the principal investigator won the 2023 class of DMREF award. He will work with Dr. Yang Chen, Dr. Feng Yan, and Dr. Yufeng Zheng on the project AI-enabled Automated design of ultrastrong and ultraelastic metallic alloys.
